So this is a little about why I made it a drabble fic. I'll be the first to admit I haven't read a lot of drabble fics. In fact, in my ten years of reading fanfics, I think I've read four or maybe five of them. Of those, I don't think any of them did chapters as long or as detailed as I'm doing.
I know I read one where every chapter was approximately seventy-five words, and to me there's just no way to capture every thing that needs to be captured in such a short amount of words.
Originally, The Emotional Roller Coaster Of Life was actually supposed to have much bigger chapters, fitting everything that would happen in a day into the same chapter. Of course, in that original version, everything was in first person (and if you look through the first thirty chapters you may catch a couple errors where it's still in first).
For me though, I'm all about challenging myself, putting myself outside of my comfort zone, trying new things, etc. So not only is this story the first AH fanfic I've ever written, but I wanted to push my limits in other ways too. That's why this story deals with a lot of things that go on in the real world every day; ptsd, depression, drug abuse, infidelity, phobias, racism, adoption, etc.
When I finally figured out where I wanted this story to start, in the prolegomenon set five years before the first chapter, it was what inspired me to break this down into a drabble-esque fic. I decided to set limits and try to stay in them as best as possible. My limits, of course, was no less than 300 words and no higher than 1000. (I'll be the first to admit I've failed several times)
I wanted to set about a story where every chapter, while short, had both a clear start and clear end, as well as every chapter having meaning and depth. There is no unimportant chapter.
So it may not be a traditional drabble because the chapters are significantly longer than normal ones, but it is still a drabble.

Show Recs - Game Show Edition
Don't have anything to say about my stories at the moment, so I thought I'd go over some of my favorite game/competition shows.
I grew up watching Family Feud, I remember watching it with Ray Combs, Louie Anderson, Richard Karn, John O'Hurley and up through the current Steve Harvey. It has been probably my favorite game show for years and I don't see that changing any time in the near future.
I also grew up watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and The Price is Right. They are all classic game shows on the primary channels in the United States.
I've recently started watching the two new game shows: The Masked Singer and The Titan Games. These two shows are both genuinely interesting, though in completely different ways. Masked Singer is fun and mysterious while Titan Games is opening.
The only other shows I truly love in this genre are some cooking competitions, namely Chopped and Guy's Grocery Games.

One-Shot/Full Story Idea
As I've stated before, most of the time I write to music, movies, or shows playing in the background. Sometimes I have audio books playing in the background. I do this so I don't get too caught up in what I'm writing and then get stuck. Background noise helps me tremendously when I'm writing.
Occasionally though, that background noise starts to inspire me. I already write a lot, so I usually try to ignore it, but I did write the one-shot Break Up With Him which was inspired by the song of the same name by Old Dominion.
Recently I listened to a song (essentially on repeat) called Missed You Just Right by Toby Keith. This song has seriously inspired me. Not sure the when, the length, or any real details just yet, but I'm pretty sure that I will eventually write a one-shot or full length story for it. Most likely a New Moon AU as I can totally fit it into that, or possibly as another All Human story.
I guess I'll see when I get to it.

The Hunter Sneak Peek
A brief teaser of Chapter 5 - Knowledgeable:
I sat cross-legged on the trunk of my car as I waited for the Cullens at school. I had made sure to arrive at six in the morning so I could guarantee and park right next to where the Cullens had been parked yesterday.
Angela arrived about half an hour after I did, making her vehicle the second in the student lot. I waved at her when she looked towards me, but otherwise didn’t remove myself from my perch. Angela waved back and then headed inside. My guess was she needed to talk with a teacher. She seemed like the type who focused on getting top grades.
A few minutes later Tyler showed up, one of the three male admirers I had so far made note of. He was bolder than the other two, Eric and Mike. I could actually conceivably like the boy if I wasn’t already engaged. He'd be good for a roll in the hay... or on a bed or a couch. I wasn't particular.
He came up to where I was sitting. “What are you doing?” Tyler asked.
“I’m waiting on the Cullens to show, they dropped an item in my yard last night when they stopped by,” I said calmly.
“Wait the Cullens stopped by your house last night?” Tyler asked in shock.

A bit about the Longer Storylines in The Emotional Roller Coaster Of Life
The Emotional Roller Coaster Of Life has several ongoing long term storylines. Among those, we have rehab, pregnancy, construction, and adoption.
The first of these, rehab, which Edward is undergoing, can be a any number of different lengths, but most traditional rehabs are 30, 60, or 90 days and then are things like NA (Narcotics Anonymous) out there to offer continued support after the end of rehab. For Edward's sake, I put him in a 90 day program. That's because I felt due to his heavy addiction, he needed a longer time in rehab. With that being said, you will definitely see him get out of rehab during this story.
Second there is pregnancy, which, as we know, in humans in a nine month term in all. At the start of this story, Rosalie was three months pregnant, and (if Bella is pregnant) Bella was about 2 months along. We will definitely see Rosalie's child before the last chapter, but Bella's, most likely, won't be revealed until the epilogue.
Third, construction of property. In this case, it's a huge property. Construction is one of those things that can vary in length based on size of property, weather, reliability of the construction workers, money and a dozen other things. We get to see the start of the work during the story, but the final product won't be revealed until the epilogue.
Then, there's adoption. Adoption is not a short thing by any mean. My little brother adopted a little girl not quite two years ago now, so I got to see a pretty good second hand experience of how it works. Adoption is generally a two phase process. The pre-placement (the joy of social workers determining if you are fit to raise a kid) and post-placement. For the purposes of the this story, the girls Alice and Jasper are interested in adopting and the girls Peter and Charlotte are working to adopt are all what some people to consider to be "troubled" children. This means their generally less desirable in a lot of people's eyes. This is an unfortunate thing that happens with adoption, most people who adopt generally want perfectly healthy, beautiful, and normal infants - generally they don't want older kids, kids with health issues, or with mental issues, or criminal charges - and just quick note with this, if you are wanting to adopt a healthy young infant, waiting lists that last excess of five years are nothing. As the kids Alice and Jasper have decided to bring into their lives do not fall in that category, but instead are troubled - a Somalian refugee child with an aversion to men and a girl who hurt herself in the past (details still to be revealed in the story) - pre-placement usually only takes a few months. We should get to see the kids for a little bit before the end of the story. Post-placement is a time period before adoption is completed where the kid lives with you and there is heavy monitoring to make sure the fit will work. Post-placement a minimum of six months. With that being said, they won't fully adopted until the epilogue.

Pigs Are Flying
