A Blast From The Past

One of my first ever ideas was basically a choose your own adventure type saga. In my mind, I was calling the story/series as a whole, Series Of 5. It was ironic because there was actually 8 different possible ways I saw it going. It was a New Moon AU. This doesn't show up in my page labeled The Archives, because an idea is all it ever was. I never actually went forward with it. But the entire thing would have been from Bella's POV. 

It would have opened with a One-Shot called Prelude To Series Of 5. This one-shot would have shown an opening scene a couple of months after Edward left. Another words, in the span of space where she was a cucumber, for lack of better words. 

From there, you would have been able to choose one of any of the five primary routes, or one of three alternate routes. Each of these would have been their own story and would have lasted about ten to twelve chapters. As it was never anything more than an idea in my head, I don't know the exact length for sure. Those stories were:

Sundew - A story where Bella found her way back to Edward and they found a way to rebuild their relationship and move forward together. A story of mates.

Sunrise - A story where Bella would have chosen Jacob, where he wasn't her Paris, but was the person she was always meant to be with. An imprint story.

Sunset - A story where Bella would end up with Emmett, after events led her to realize that he was the kind of being she needed. A story of adrenaline.

Sunshine - A story where Bella and Jasper would find there way to each other after Bella was changed by another vampire. A story of redemption.

Sunshade - A story where Bella never ran with the pack, where none of the Cullens ever returned, and where she managed to pick herself up and find a relationship with Mike. A story of humanity.

Alternate Sun - A story where Alice and Bella would have ended up together after Alice came back for her. A story of devotion.

Opposite Sun - A story where Carlisle and Esme would have come for Bella and, after finding her broken, helped her to rebuild her life. A story of family and trust.

Negative Sun - A story where Bella would have continued in a downward spiral of pain and grief, where after months of dealing with loss she would have eventually killed herself. A story of depression.

No matter which story you read (excepting Negative Sun), there was a generic-type one-shot that would have concluded the story. Essentially it was a generic epilogue, called Conclusion To Series Of 5, that would have fit for the five major stories and two of the alternatives, and was set about five years to a decade into the future. 

As I said, I never actually followed through with this idea, but as I still remember it, I won't write it off as being something that will never happen. Who knows? Maybe someday I'll come back to it.
